Any more than 6 (up to 24 more) items, + larger things

like cribs, require an appointment that may be several wks out

 

Things must be in freshly cleaned, excellent, safe condition

free of stains, pet hair, & odors including perfume & smoke

 

Green Light Go for almost anything a kid can sit on:

little table & chairs, exersaucer, walker, jumper, booster seat for car or table,

highchair, rocking chair of any size, wooden toys,

puzzles & games, carrier, sling, tricycle, pack n play, safety gates

 

No for war toys, weapons, camouflage, leather, fur,

or, anything dirty, torn, broken, expired or recalled.

WHAT “CLEAN” MEANS: 

1.    To be “resale ready”, all surfaces of all used items need to have

an intimate relationship with antibacterial soap and rinsed clean

immediately before coming in to the shop. Scrub brushes help.

 a.  Things like machine washable seat covers for strollers

highchairs, car seats etc. need to be removed and laundered.

Straps should be removed & scrubbed in warm, soapy water.

Every thing needs to be clean.

Even toys. Even books. Even cribs / mattresses. Even shoes.

Every thing needs to be clean.

 2.    Anything with parts & pieces needs to have all the parts & pieces.

 3.    Anything that takes batteries needs working batteries.

 

4.    It is helpful to have original packaging & paperwork.

 

* * We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but;

Again & a Gain cannot accept any items for consignment that are:

1. not completely and thoroughly, freshly cleaned,

2. stained, faded, pilled or torn,  3. Not free of lint, pet hair, or odors including smoke, mildew & perfume.

4. Missing parts, 5.  Have any chipped or peeling paint, 6. Broken or not in good working order.  * *

 

Consigning and shopping at Again & a Gain supports a variety of charities for children & families in need.

We appreciate your agreeing to let us donate items and a portion of the proceeds for things that we are unable to sell

 for you on your account within 60 days. It will be assumed that items left in the store that are not “clean” & “ready for resale”

as per the definition above - are OK to donate or dispose of one way or another at our discretion.
